The boy who tore the days off

This performance starts from reading a book at a desk. Nothing is written in this book.The monotonous movement to turn the book is going to link up with our living life that is repeated everyday.
The boy who appear in this blank book lurks in everyone's mind. It is recording the passing moments as a placid heartbeat. And he put a question "the meaning of life" to audience.
This work was made after the huge earthquake in Japan, and is felt "to live with someone" and "to live alone".
-The sun and the moon were always together but always fighting. God decided to separate the hours for the sun and moon, and placed a boy to tear the days off. The boy tore the days off, after day, he tore the days off.
One day, he grew tired of tearing the days off. He wish the day vanished but...
This story was published as a picture book in 2013.

this video gets better and better. Please everybody, skip the first 3 minutes and then you're in a beautiful sequence....the end is great!
