Dieux Trouvés
I was attracted by everything which was other so I travelled to search the border between cultures. I was picturing in my mind that thershold between „us“ and „them“ the way I was told about, but once I found myself on the border I realised how artificial and evenescent that was. The border is indeed porous and not sealed. In fact whole parts of cultures, uses and believes traspassed borders regardless of political geography. The incredible vitality of shades that one can find on the borders is so powerful that inspires almost inevitably thoughts of oneness. Human oneness, that then developes in unity even with animals and vegetables worlds.
Once one digs to look for roots than inevitably finds roots of others and the deeper one digs the more links with the other he/she ends up finding.
That´s how I realised that we are one.
In the presented work I digitally realaborated old images very popular in Indian streets temples, enhancing their already exhisting trans-religious character.
