Fraus

Fraus

The Jester offers the sun, moon and the stars to the lady.
He has laid out all his cards (his hand) seemingly forming a powerful straight flush in hearts but actually one is a spade (ace); a spade in red color. So the hand is just a low straight. He hopes she does not realise this.

The ace, four, and three are together .143 in the Phil is I love you. But in this case he is untrue.

The cubes are of the exact same sizes but the last one at the back looks larger and the one at the bottom is the smallest. Its an optical illusion using perspective. This supports the theme of deception.

The safe that is hanged at the background is empty (see shadow). The jester promises wealth to the lady but he has none.

A dunce cap is near the head of the lady. She is stupidly in love and is unaware of the deception. She has crossed her fingers hoping that everything is true.
