L´Ksfnv (2012)

This series of pictures and video, made by glitch, try to question or criticize the concept and meaning of error during the process of capturing digital images, and how It gives not only a new meaning to the image or picture itself, but also to the ideas of reality, image construction and moment; all of them, extracted by a mechanical or digital device in every single picture we take.

In technical words, a glitch is known for being an unexpected result, or some kind of digital or analog malfunction inside a computer process, which involves a certain change or spike in the average voltage of an electrical or electronic device.
These series of works explore this idea of unexpected by showing us the errors and corrupted pictures recovered from and old SD card that was accidentally erased. The software used for this task did recover perfectly almost all the digital files I was supposed to get, except a small number of them, who were, in a certain way, corrupted.

This images are presented as they were recovered. They haven´t been edited or cropped or text edited in any way.

My interest and investigation in glitch art started a couple years ago (www.kclcr.blogspot.com), and I have explored it also for creating gif images and video (Peces, 2012).
