X-Scape

X-Scape is a multi-platform project comprising a live-media performance, a series of audiovisual installations and a DVD.
Grounded in the traditions of live-cinema and visual music practices, X-Scape leverages the use of digital elaboration of sounds and visuals to achieve a synchronized, clear, surgical audiovisual relationship between the visual and the sonic languages.
This 4 channels audiovisual performance was produced by Meet in Town festival and performed at the "Auditorium Parco della Musica" in Rome.
Conceived, designed and performed by Martux_M and Mattia Casalegno, X-Scape was premiered at Mutek Festival in Montreal in 2005, and performed in several occasions since then.
X-Scape DVD is produced and distributed by Persistencebit rec (2007)
