The Anatomy of Celebration

This print is part of a body of work called The Anatomy of Celebration, which examines the role that fantasy and ritual play in our lives, at both the private and state level – with special reference to celebrations of various kinds, including weddings. These frequent, elaborate enactments transform the locality where I live, art and reality overlap till they become indistinguishable from one another.
