Big Chair

This image is a large scale woodblock print. Hand carved over two months, this image was printed in the traditional Japanese water-based style; with Sumi ink on Japanese Sekishu paper. The print was then backed with two additional sheets of Sekishu paper using a traditional and completely archival Japanese scroll mounting process that fuses the multiple sheets of paper together, forming a single, incredibly strong sheet of paper.
