'Without My Wounds Who Was I'

'Without My Wounds Who Was I'

A privacy screen was remodeled to carry a triptych on the concealed side. From the front, the screen looks like an everyday object, but on the reverse are three sheets of metal. The body oil shows the remains of the human body; whereas the vomit has an abstract and performative gesture that ties to the internal processes of the body. Over time the remains will bite through the metal, and therefore become more visibly apparent. The unlimited process of decay refers to how the past continually informs the present.

Well done for having the vision and to see these through.
