Dipped in Gold

Dipped in gold refers to our love of things that glimmer. If something looks gold, we tend to have an extra look. I took our major religious icon and covered only his head with gold leaf. This accentuates the loss of value that religion had nowadays. By covering only his in gold and by providing him with a white neon halo I try to restore a bit of its value.
