Welcome Home Son

My painting develops a resistance to confide in, to give the keys of the games stake that cross over it. This is to the viewer to deceal the underground forces in presence. The situations depicted, prone to interpretation, keeps open and unresolved.
Far from the ordinary and commonplace, the intrigue is here the driving force of the conflict and drama. It is a painting where the viewer wonders openly on the nature of relations and tensions that cross over it. A painting in front of what we don’t stop only anymore to contemplate it, but also because we’re striked by an untold plot that questions us on something essential to the human nature.
In this paintings particularly, I develop social questions related to our sexuality, our voyeurism and exhibitionnism, and realities hidden by social apparences.
The different iconographical elements that I integrate into my paintings are fragments of personal photographs or pictures found on internet (Google). The collage allows me to assemble elements from different backgrounds. I remove, I cut off, I amputate some real life pieces, teared off their natural background, and insert them inside a new structure without they lose their original properties. I use the equivalent of lexical field in painting that establish conflicts between those iconographical elements and creates a distanciation.
