Den Haag Min 10
From the modulation of a simple line to complex technological structures, any media serves to show the expressive virtues of this new language based on joint sequences instead of words.
Den Haag Min 10 is part of the exhibition 'A Message' (Syntactic Structures) witch shows endless transcriptions of the poem with the same name:
"I know the Man since He was a child.
We have played to sing and dance.
Maybe, one day, He decides to relate.
Its time to teach him to SPEAK"."
Four lines that turn into readable painting, music, movement, shape, metamorphosis, color, sound, ..., sometimes imitating styles others opening new ways of expression. But everytime with a background syntax, a text, which could be translated into any other idiom.
"The revolutionary concept of layer_TEXT allows us to say a specific content by any means at our disposal. This is the first language detached from the corpus used to talk about."
In the case of Den Haag Min 10, the poem is transcribed through changes of A/V properties such as saturation, speed, noise, etc... transforming the natural view of the video in a coded corpus that says and express in multiple levels. This is the first video that talks by its own without letters.
