Tango Panopticon

My Tango Panopticon series uses unexpected dance interventions to resensualize space and call attention to growing governmental and corporate video surveillance of public space. During the interventions live video is streamed to tangointervention.org where viewers can see how the actions in public space are also socially informed interventions that call attention to local hidden histories or current social issues. Tango Panopticon is the latest work in my 5 year series Tango Intervention which also includes gallery exhibitions of video installations and digital prints based on pubic interventions performed on 4 continents around the world.
