Horst Mahlers Eyes - version 2
"Horst Mahler's eyes" looks at the imprisoned founding member of the Red Army Faction move to lead the Neo-Nazi Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands, for the Anglo-German artist's project "Considering Silesia".
Version 1 is a contribution for "The Bookmark Project" - bookmarks created by 11 Nottingham-based artists at Nottingham Contemporary book collection curated by Yelena Popova from 15th April 2011 and continuing
This is a response to reading the book "The German Issue" edited by Sylvère Lotringer 1982 / 2009 in The Study of Nottingham Contemporary
Version 2 is a more "painterly" drawing than version 1, made after the opening of "The Bookmark Project"
