I'm a printmaker and book artist who's work reflect how her culture and personal experiences intertwine to influence the creative work.
I use visual metaphors in the development of the compositions like windows, arches, doorways, as a way to represent the space and family, landscape, flora and cultural elements of my race mixture to speak visually about the social issues I care about.
The print media like lithography, Screenprint, collograph, woodcut o the book format is use depending on the character I'm seeking for in terms of texture, color or the representation capabilities for the image.
