Biografia
Maria Almena is creative director of Kimatica studio, a London-based multidisciplinary platform whose works explore the intersection between the human body, fashion and technology. A young studio best know for the acclaimed Simulacrum live body mapping shows, a project supported by Kinetica Museum where they research the combination of new technologies and performing arts, which has been touring internationally for the last two years creating a high interest in the arts, music and fashion industry.
Maria is also a multidisciplinary artist, her work examines human metamorphosis throughout social evolution. The body is the key to exploration - transforming, mutating and searching for answers in our own canvas; highlighting the transition through different perceptions and the journey within itself.
