Biografia
The concept of my work is about the evolution that I have had as an artist, using as a base the fact that life is a romantic and solitary visión where often I coexist with internal monsters whos faces appear to me, through that expressing my own fears, my situation in the world. I define and liberate myself through them. The perceptions and sensations are interpretive and equate that to the artist, me. It is not what I consider to be the most important or interesting aspect of my work. There is always the subjest of the background of the work and then the creation of it. My work is the essence of its errors, where the hours pass and daybreak comes, fighting the world and taking refuge in my vocation. As the years pass, I evolve. It is something very real and, to authenticate my message, which needs not a precise foundation on which to live, but is simply the expression of a reality that I’m sure that many other young artists like me share. Nonetheless, it is a register of a process like everything. Often everything in my surroundings is very grey but my drawings are very colorful and always carry a message. That is the important thing, that art transmits something. Whatever it may be, it sould make you feel sorry, to question yourself and to forget the books that you see in art galleries. Art out there is different, very well argued, very well planned. This concept more than breaks the traditional notions of what is and what is not art, if it understands itself or not. In artistic terms, often it is not a question of dealing, but of seeing and of feeling how these inequalities affect one as an artista. I seek to be my own influence, to créate my own formation, to show the world something so beautiful yet so simple. Something born out of inertia, out of the soul, something that breaks the mold. I want to show the world that, maybe, a series of drawings doesn’t need an endless argument behind it, maybe just silence while you take in and interpret the drawing in your own way.
