The problematic of «being a women» continues to keep its place on the public agenda on a global level. The voice of the women, who are oppressed, killed, raped, abused, seen as inferior and who are fighting to survive outside of the roles attributed to them because of the neglect of the social aspect of gender differences and the pressures of patriarcal structure on women’s bodies, is pronounced once again through art in «Until It Turns Slightly Pink» exhibition.
The group exhibition titled «Until It Turns Slightly Pink» brings together a number of artists from different disciplines who place women’s issues at the center of their works. The exhibition featuring Ayşe Bezenmiş, Gülsün Karamustafa, Katerina Belkina, Kezban Arca Batıbeki, Merve Denizci ve Nihal Martlı can be viewed at CAM Gallery between May 5th and June 5th 2016.
