I am showing in the Putney Arts Theatre, The Travelers Part 1 – a series of paintings, mixed media, oils, and oil pastels on canvas and linen.
I' m expecting my paintings to reveal their other face to the fresh eyes of the new viewer. The series is expected to initiate a few varied thoughts and deepen in the struggle for identity, sanctuary or shelter, in search of the root of a meaning of life.
For me, this journey moves through the innerness or otherness towards the metaphorical or the symbolism in the attentional blink of memory visions.
It's part of a difficult journey where it interferes. But where there’s hope, there’s life.
