Friederike Biebl, born in Medellin (Colombia), is a visual artist from Berlin. The artist surprises in her works with a new and modern interpretation of the figure by using her resources of creation: painting, photography and collage. She`s in the search for showing " the complexities and isolation the identities are caught in" by mastering this in abstract-figurative gesture which shows in particular the separation of the people in an extraordinary way. By even including their weights in the title she gives an idea of waht she`s interested in. Showing the non-meassurable in her paintings. One could speak of inner landscapes which is confirmed by the titling of the artist, such as the series "In the window of my self." For the screening at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin) she has inwoven an overview of her work under the title "The Archaeology of existence" with fragments of her lyrics written on her own.,
