After the successful first edition STUDIO ARTE CARAPOSTOL organizes the 2nd edition of "Affinità e Contrasti", International Exhibition of Contemporary Art from 7 to 14 January 2011 which will be attended by representatives from 29 artists from Spain, France, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Italy, Finland, Hungary, Moldova, Denmark, Lituania, Germany, Russia and China at the new exhibition space in the Scoletta of St. John the Baptist. The building adjoining the church of the ninth century that overlooks the field of Bragora (also known as Campo Bandiera e Moro), is in the city center, in the Castello district between Piazza San Marco (10 minutes) and the Biennale Gardens. The Scoletta returned to its original use for the promotion of the arts in the last Biennials was site of Serbia and Macao, and now offers the Venetian artistic scene to nationally and internationally artists.
The event, an opportunity to meet and exchange between artists is aimed at promoting contemporary art
