The project PERFORMING MOVING IMAGE explores the extension of the conventional moving image presentation. Artists are invited to present the hidden process, experiences and choices made before, during and after the video or film piece is stored on a DVD. The boundary between the studio and the stage becomes blurred or inverted. What was done only for the camera with a crew, will be presented live to an audience. This project will reveal the moving image studio praxis and show the multiple actions and arts that (per)form the moving image art.
