DeriveLab | London | 2010
Mostre, Regno Unito, London, 10 June 2010
DériveLab negotiates a space for social and topographical experimentation.

It employs alternative interactive methodologies in order to create a heterotopian situation in which spatial and sonic processes are explored and interrogated. Our practices are heterotopian in that dérive is not utopian, its praxis inheres in the subversion of everyday life; its site is located within 'this place' rather than concepts of 'non place'; it remakes the city in the here and now through a methodological bricolage of heterogeneous ambiance, the heterotopic and heterochronic.

The work of the dérive is therefore heterotopographical, more usually summarised by the term psychogeography. The project will encompass an interactive network of multiple international contributors from cities including London, Tel Aviv, Frankfurt, Parma and Tokyo.
