Biografia
Thomas Bollmann and Ingrid Jones are multi-disciplinary artists and filmmakers who work under the collective name of Seed9. They began their creative partnership in 2004 with a focus on pushing creative boundaries while encouraging freedom of expression and collaboration.
Over the course of twelve years, Seed9 has developed their own unique take on still and moving visuals. Their respective backgrounds of photography and creative direction afforded them the opportunity to take on projects from conception to completion with ease. Their ability to manage productions and teams have placed them in a unique position to take on larger scale initiatives such as their independent arts and culture publication Poor But Sexy, which they funded, designed and produced to great success. Their interest in raw storytelling paired with their continued investment in the creative community has resulted in the highlighting of not only their works but the works of their collaborators.
Among their awards and recognitions, are a Design Exchange Award for Best In Show in Visual Communications for the printed piece Art vs. Commerce - Seid Bereit, Immer Bereit, an invitation from the esteemed design publication, Computer Arts Projects UK to discuss the role of photography in design and in 2010 their image, ‘Mean Gene’s Tattoo Parlour’ was selected to represent The European Month of Photography in Berlin with a feature in the award-winning publication, Photografie.

With mutual respect and trust, this duo continues to embark on projects that engage and challenge those around them. Because of this, they have been featured in and produced stories for Vice Berlin, Stack Printout, Globe Style, EnRoute and many more.
