Biografia
Arnel David Garcia is an artist residing in Angeles City. He is primarily a sculpturist, but he also paints different subjects such as landscapes. Garcia holds Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Holy Angel University in Angeles City. His studies in Computer Science as well as in Art are unfortunately not completed due to the time he spent on numerous research topics and as being a full-time artist.
Since the summer of 2005, he has been the College Instructor of Kapampangan Studies at the Holy Angel University in Angeles City. He also serves as an Instructor in the College of Business and Accountancy, College of Hospitality Management and of Kapampangan Culture.
Garcia participates in many art competitions and achieved many awards and recognitions for his outstanding sculpture and artworks. In AAP Annual Competition and GSIS Art Competition, he often comes out as a finalist. In Metrobank Art Competition, he frequently receives Honorable Mention.
Garcia already held several solo exhibitions. He continues participating in group exhibitions in Angeles and Metro Manila.
Garcia is currently the President of Kapampangan Manguleampong Gugulis (KAPANGULIS), Public Relations Officer of KATATAGAN (Katipunan dareng Talasaliksik at Talaturung Kapampangan), and member of Aguman Buklud Kapampangan in Pampanga.
He still spends a lot of time in several research topics on Kapampangan prehistory and archaeology. Garcia already published several articles and booklets on Kapampangan arts and crafts.
