Biografia

My work concerns the depiction of architectural space and its intervention in the natural world. I explore how architectural space is constructed and observed, using exaggerated perspectives, architectural shapes, flattened planes, aerial views, and the language of maps.

Most of the works deal with buildings impact on the land, such as building in fragile eco scares and the conflict of nature and built systems.

I have practiced as an architect and artist, and taught at Rhode Island School of Design. Growing up in Mexico I have always been aware of social and political issues.
