Biografia
Juan Del Balso was born in Mendoza, Argentina in the 1978.
He begins his artistic journey very quickly, almost as a game, until the age of 20, when he gets to know and learn the technique of soldered iron and begins to realize his artistic personality.
Del Balso is a self-taught artist, but still now continues his "studies" by observing, analyzing and discussing art works. Seeking to learn and perfect him self in ancient and modern techniques. Expressing always his personality and his own vision of the world
He works with different materials (iron, stone, wood, resin...). In his sculptures his subjects can be expressed by figuration, as well as abstraction.
He’s an eclectic artist, in every new work hi tryes to find something different, profound; he experiments continuously, in that research of himself that leads him always farther.
In the 2005 he decides to leave Argentina, and moves to Italy, after some traveling and a few months in Pietrasanta, he stays in Florence, where he makes sculptures and paintings in his studio at Santo Spirito's quarter.
In 2011 he returns to Argentina.
