Silvia Sun is a Linz based Austrian artist. She is concerned with the human being and his boundary points with nature, with vegatation and civilisation, wilderness and urbanity. Her work focuses on man’s relationship with nature, his position in society and the search for a kind of paradise.
Dichotomies like civilisation and wilderness, culture and nature can be found throughout the work.
There‘s naive amazement due to nature's overwhelming diversity, which is manifested in every details, cracks and gaps, but also melancholy in view of the finiteness of all.
