Biografia
Sophie d'Ancona was born in Paris in 1967, she started a short study of History of Art at Ecole du Louvre and then studied theatre in different Dramma and dance Schools in Paris and New York.
She never drawn, until she started to pose nuded for a Figural Academy in Milan in 1997 where the Art director asked her to draw because as a model she should draw as well. But her very first beginning started in 2013, after understanding that the fact to have been a converted left handed child when she was 6, could have been a fundamental brake to her painter quality. So she started to experiment painting with her left hand, and began to feel new sensations that she never felt before. From now and then she paints exclusively with her left hand like a revendication to be a native left-handed person and to recover her rights of identity and freedom
