Biografia
I have always been keen visual artist and pursued my passion as soon as I was afforded an opportunity. My opportunity came when I transferred from one school to another. Victoria Girls’ high, in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape was where the real journey began. Art was one of the subjects offered and because pupils were allowed a maximum of six subjects, I had to drop one of the subjects I had already been doing in order to accommodate this new one. I was not really happy to drop this particular subject as it was one of my favourites, but it had to be done – my Art came and still comes first. After passing matric, in 1998, I went on to study Interior Design at the then Pretoria Technikon, now known as the Tshwane University of Technology. In 2000, during my 2nd year, I decided to focus on my strength, Fine Art, of which drawing and painting were my majors. In 2002, I started studying Information Technology, which is a career that I am still very much involved in right now. The idea was to combine the art world and that of technology. In my mind, this is website design which is why I took the software development route. I have since graduated with a national diploma in hand and currently completing my degree in software development. To this day, my passion for art is very much alive and I would like to explore more of what I can achieve.
