Biografia
A concept stands at the root of my artistic process - a construct of ideas which is determined by technical, historical and aesthetical interest. But it is with a twinkle in the eye that I realise my ideas. In my sculptures I combine "objects trouvés" which could also be called "objects cherchés" with metal, glass and synthetic materials. Thus these objects cherchés, are modified and set in a new context. I capture my own dynamism and inspiration in my works as light, movement and shape and let them communicate with the environment, which reflects itself in them thus creating a constant variability.
Solange Keschmann is born in Geneva, Switzerland. She lives and works in Vienna and Mödling, Austria.
