Biografia
Patricia “Chai” Santos is a self-study artist (hobbyist) from Arayat, Pampanga. She initially discovered painting as a form of catharsis from the routine, eventually into a creative outlet drawing from the plethora of experiences throughout her life.
Santos’ preferred medium is oil. Her work touches on a variety of subjects, whose main mantra is inspired by the pursuit of light in seemingly dark and melancholic scenarios. She describes herself as a realist—which is evident in her paintings through the selection of subjects and settings. Her goal is to breathe life even in the most ordinary scenes.
Santos’ started exhibiting her works last 2016. It’s always a great feeling for her to share with others what she loves to do. And to be appreciated is always an incentive.
