Statement:
Each of my paintings is an attempt to condense connected events, experiences or perspectives into a single image of heightened intensity.
In my 'religious' and environmental paintings, apparent romanticism subsides on closer inspection, as glowing colour delays recognition of sinister, bizarre or incongruous details.
