Biografia
The piece that is pictured is 2.5m x 1.2m when it is closed. It opens to 2.5m x 2.5 m. The closed version(pictured) is oils. The open piece (the background to my personal page) is encaustic. Poetry is written into the wax. It reads:
"He had expected more, but as the world released its gentle grip he saw that he, like that foolish boy, had flown too high and too close to the sun."
This is one piece that is part of a series of 12. All are encaustic on the interior. All have original poetry inscribed into the wax.
