Biografia
Born in Tehran, Iran, Anahita has lived in London, Paris, and currently resides in New York City. She has studied Mixed Media under Leonid Lerman at the Art Student League. Her inspiration comes from everyday objects collected during her travels and expeditions around the city. These found treasures are transformed in her compositions, taking on new shapes and meaning. “What I see in a broken piece of glass or metal, is the memory of what it was once part of. By giving these forgotten objects a new life, I nurture my own sense of hope”.
