Biografia
Song Chung is a Korean artists. She born in 1988 and grew up in Seoul, Korea. She moved to the United States at the age of 16. She is a sculptor, video, and installation artist who lives and works in New York City. In many of her works merge sculpture and video together. She uses projector to present her video work. By projecting onto the sculpture and installing them in a space, create a ritualized atmosphere.
In addition, in one of her works, "Love Quest", she used sculpture to create a performance piece and she made documentary video of the performance. "Love Quest", it is about collecting all the wishes of people who wish to be in love forever. I am taking a journey to find wishes to be forever in love and carrying a giant sculpture which represents a backpack. From the performance, she engaged with the audience.
