Seven years ago Diana took a decision; she resigned a steady employment as a Geological drawer at TNO and chose an uncertain existence as an artist. After an education of five years she succeeded at the Art Academy. Her personal past and her former profession can be found as a common thread in her work. She creates her personal reality: terrestrial landscapes in which tension is made by the contrast between quiet spaces and almost random lines. Many works are autobiographical influenced. The works of Diana are both colorful and sober. Materials such as plaster, cement, sand, clay and paint layers are crucial. Her work is really stuffed with layers, as if it
wants to break the earth crust to discover what lies beneath. Recently she realized a public waterartwork “Matilo” and soon she is starting a second public artwork in Park “De Bult “ in Leiden.
