Biografia
natalie was born in landstuhl germany from an american father and an italian mother, went to american and italian schools throughout high school and began college at the university of maryland.
she then moved to milan and continued her studies at the 'luigi bocconi' university. she stayed on to live in Milan creating and managing four of the most innovative bars and restaurants in town: cafè india, elephant, milch and beige.
throughout those years she studied art and painting. she began exhibiting in 2001. her work concentrates on social themes , and painting is the expression of her exploration of the visible.
her specific research in painting focuses on, the fear of death, the necessity to be a star, the war between man and woman, all external process connected to society, while starting to feel the necessity to explore the poetics of life, the power of rituals, mathematcs and numbers....
currently she lives between italy, paris and the los angeles.
