Ank Ter Kuile lives in Maarn, the Netherlands.
She studied art in Enschede the Netherlands and in Paris France.
Her paintings and drawings tell a personal story, evoke a unique atmosphere, and possess a distinctive character.
These characteristics are expressed in the manner in which
Ank composes each painting, treating it as an individual puzzle.
She uses her imagination and emotions as a guide to select and combine the right puzzle pieces.
Each contrast, each accentuated detail, each colour and each shape is part of the whole.
In 2015 her dear beloved husband died a sudden death.
With her new paintings she tries to find a new way of living.
