Biografia
Silvia Pereira studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, specialized in Sculptural Behaviours. As an interdisciplinary artist, she makes artistic interventions based on a research about the subjectivity, authorship and identity. In her project «M D V EUS Self-actualizing the subject» (in progress since Jan. 2010) she launches a group of certain heteronyms, developing vanishing lines of investigation, drawing their present/future with their own identity and biography. Overall it is a work that is meant to investigate and question the role of the subject through the experience of the artist, provoking a vivid and critical debate about the phenomenon of authorship, and the constraints of the subject. M D V EUS is a long‐term life project‐journey to grow, deconstruct/re‐construct, polish and purify until eventually unveiling the Being at a point ZERO as an excellent source of the art medium.
The trans‐disciplinary works have been presented in various exhibitive fields, crossing through visual, media and stage arts.
JCHartmann (visual artist, author & performer),
born 1978 in Karlsruhe, Germany, studied History of Arts, Cultural Sciences and Mediation of Arts and Culture (M.A.) at the University of Bremen. Works and lives as art mediator and lecturer, light technician, author and cinema artist in Hamburg and Lisbon.
