Bio
I took photography courses and seminars, screen printing, digital art programs, use of synthetic resins, advanced gigantography. I was the colorist for a clothing brand and had two businesses of textile loom, producing and marketing my own designs. Currently I work in art exclusively, developing series of abstract and figurative works in mixed techniques, oil, and digital art. I studied architecture and fine arts, as well as painting workshops with Miguel Davila and Kenneth Kemble. I worked in the areas of graphic design, textile design, photography. Alongside with production of plastic work, I made murals and decorative painting for public and private sites, assembly and curation of art exhibitions. This variety of studies and training are due to curiosity about all useful techniques for the production of images. Each medium generates its own particular aesthetic use, experimentation not only combines materials and relays the image from one medium to another, but also offers the possibility of aesthetic, and conceptual mergers. Each specific finding may have creatively implications in other medium . When a work is the result of a close integration of techniques, I consider it as mixed media, even if the last stage of the work is digital. It is complex having passed through many stages apparently disconnected, but now I can carry on a search that covers manual and technology, the figurative and the abstract. Since 1984, I participated in several solo and group exhibitions, one of them in Grand Valley State University, Michigan, during 2011.
