Biografia
Hunter Clarke paints outside of Philadelphia in Ardencroft, DE. Born in Newport, RI, she received a BA from the University of Delaware in 2001, a MSAE from Massachusetts College of Art in 2003, and has studied at the Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art in France. Her work has been exhibited at galleries, festivals, and fairs, including the Biggs Museum of American Art, the Delaware Art Museum, and the Pen & Brush Galleries in New York. Her sometimes controversial paintings address issues of wildness and domesticity with animal subjects.
