Biografia
My artistic creation deals with my identity as a woman and as a mother. I am particularly interested in exploring man-woman, mother-child relationships. The search for identity fluctuates from one personality to another: a naïve girl, an innocent woman, or a victim. The metaphors in my work spring from identity-related thoughts or memories. Often they stem from dreams, which depict a mental state of absence. The engagement with time and with the cyclicality of life is a salient feature of my works. In terms of medium, I mostly focus on acrylic and mixed-technique drawings.
