ARTIST STATEMENT
I was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Miami, Florida. I am of Italian and Cuban Origin. I have received my Bachelors of Visual Arts in Drawing and Painting from Florida International University.
I love humanity and it's diversity. I am a narrative figurative painter. My works are delicate and sensitive with an aggression of stroke. Currently, I am working on a series thematically representing scenes from a recent trip to New York entitled Subway series. The subway scenes are multi-@257;gural lessons of lighting and romantic scenes are painted with a sensuous aggression depicting a joyous lyrical journey with charm of humanity. Simultaneously, In addition, I have another series I am working on portraits with human emotions in silverpoint on masonite board.
