Within a field of tension between realism and irreality, Pascalle Mansvelders uses the rat run of imagination to understand the world of concrete surrounding her. Her paintings show human beings as angels. A choice based on the immemorial concept of angels as messengers. When it comes to music as the language of angels, she adopts lyrics from popsongs, replacing the traditional attributes of angels with other weapons.
