We work together and see our collaboration as if one person made it.
We both consider ourselves as activist and our work uses two modes of working between art and social activism. The first one is often an action in public space and the second is the transformation within an art exhibition context. In the first one we address a public in open space at everyday situations, in the second one the spectator of an exhibition.
We are interested in how the recent historical process is filtered through and represented in collective memory. How have core ideas of progress, consumption, democracy or justice been changing in the perceptions of a society? How does the shift from collective to individual, public to private reflect in the way society remembers history and rethinks?
Memory, vulnerable and imprecise, is also a contaminated catalyst to access representations of history and identity, whether remembered or reconstructed.
