Biografia
Silvia Gentili's signature self-photos take the study of performance to a more conceptual layer, revealing stories that are at once personal and political, magnetic and repulsive. Based in London, after studying anthropology at La Sapienza University of Rome, she graduated in photography at IED, European Institute of Design.
She defines her images as ‘still performances’, merging photography and body-art to inspect human nature through the flesh and soul of a woman.
