My work deals with contemporary political and social issues.
World news as Cambodia, child soldiers or Female Genital Mutilation had a strong impact on me.
I begin by visualizing the idea I have on my mind, no judge; art allows me the power to create, reality and vision. Through smoky backgrounds, deforming bodies and dimensions I erase the limits of real vs surreal. Strange beauty and darkness are fascinating for me. The viewer confronts the real issues with their own sense of life and death, submission and power, art and destruction.
