BIOGRAPHY
I was born close to Krakow, Poland, 1951. Since 1981 I am living in Sweden.
My first individual exhibition took place in 1981 in Warsaw, Poland, and since then I have presented my works at numerous exhibitions in Scandinavia, Poland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and the USA.
STATEMENT
My art expresses my fascination with nature’s immense richness of colours, forms and textures. These are my starting points in creating never ending visual transformations, the final interpretation of which is left to viewers’ discretion. I believe that nature is the ultimate masterpiece and an artist should not merely copy it, but rather strive towards revealing its true spirit.
