Biografia
Interested in abstract geometric painting, taking inspiration from both Modernism and Postmodernism. Materiality, surface quality and colour relationships are of high importance to the final design. A range of paints are used, including metallic and fluorescent acrylics and glossy enamels, to create contrasting and exciting finishes. I distort my images by hand and also with Photoshop before embarking on the production of each new painting, which is thoughtfully planned out and executed using a series of strict processes. I want people to be captivated by my work and gain further appreciation for the medium of paint.
