Biografia
Emma O'Rourke was born in London, Emma Jane Sara Goodman. She won art prizes throughout school, and became an Art Director after Graduating but not without various other creative roles - fashion Stylist for bands such as Two Unlimited and Melanie Blatt for All Saints, a photographer and journalist for the Independent Newspaper Fashion Section, a designer for 'Club On' Magazine and a painter and club Host for Acid Jazz's club in Hoxton - The Blue Note.
Emma also painted and decorated for the Magic Bus Acid Jazz Club Night, Rotation at Subterannea, and Club Art in Southampton. She designed Band Logos and has been a creative force for clients including Incognito and designed Jamie Catto's Big Truth Band Logo (before Faithless). Since 2001 Emma has painted full time - thus taking her husband's surname who supported her shift to follow her long time dream to paint big oil canvases. Now Emma paints from her small but perfectly formed Georgetown Studio and lives with her husband and 2 children in Washington, DC.
